Production & Frozen Music

The musical was created since 2014 – the main goal was not speed, but quality. Many of those who worked on the cartoon – the same composers and screenwriters – took part in the creation of the Broadway production. The creators worked heartily on the scenery – the “winter” fairy tale turned out to be very realistic. More than 40 extras took part in the show, and the performance itself is served by the most sophisticated equipment. Among the equipment there are 20 artificial snow making machines, which create a real snowstorm on the stage.

Frozen is a musical with music and lyrics by Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez and a book by Jennifer Lee , based on the 2013 movie of the same name . The story centers on the relationship between two princess sisters, Elsa and Anna. Elsa has magical powers to freeze objects and people that she does not know how to control. After inheriting the throne, Elsa escapes, inadvertently causes the kingdom to freeze in perpetual winter, and nearly kills her sister. She must make a sacrifice and show true love to save the day.

The plot of the musical Frozen

Elsa, the young princess of the kingdom of Erendell, has had the magical ability to create ice and snow since she was born. During the course of the play, she inadvertently directs her magic at her younger sister Anna, causing her to freeze. Seeking rescue, the king and queen turn for help to the trolls, whose leader is Pabby. Under his influence, Anna recovers, but Pabby warns Elsa of the danger of her powers and advises her to learn to control them.

Fear of Elsa’s powers leads the royal family to decide to isolate themselves in the castle to protect those around them from potential dangers. Ten years later, the king and queen die and Elsa becomes queen. During this time, the sisters begin to rebuild their relationship.

On the day of her coronation, Anne meets Prince Hans of the Southern Isles, who immediately proposes to her. However, Elsa refuses to bless their marriage, claiming that it is happening too quickly. This causes an argument between the sisters, and Elsa, losing control of her powers, plunges Erendell into eternal winter. In a panic, she flees to the mountains where she builds herself an ice castle, declaring it her new kingdom. Anna, feeling guilty for what has happened, goes in search of Elsa, hoping to reconcile with her sister and bring summer back to their kingdom.
